    Ramsley Imports becomes Travelway Luggage and expands its product assortment.

    Travelway grows its North American customer base and establishes a west coast distribution network.

    Travelway expands its presence in China through strategic partnerships in Hong-Kong and Shanghai.

    Following the acquisition of Renwick, Travelway grows its brand portfolio.

    Building on new data-driven and consumer-oriented strategies, Travelway continues to adapt and grow within the ever-changing retail atmosphere.

1973

Founders Ramsey and Virginia Shadeed establish Ramsley Imports and begin selling Spanish and Italian leather goods to the Canadian market

1970-1980

Ramsley Imports becomes Travelway Luggage and expands its product assortment, importing a range of luggage and bags from South Korea and eventually China.

1980-1990

Travelway grows its North American customer base and establishes a west coast distribution network.

1990-2000

Travelway expands its presence in China through strategic partnerships in Hong-Kong and Shanghai. Over the next 20 years this presence grows into a robust sourcing, R&D and QC arm of the company.

2000-2010

Following the acquisition of Renwick, Travelway grows its brand portfolio of owned brands and licenses, like Air Canada, to provide its retail partners with complete turnkey programs.

2010-2020

Travelway shows continued growth via new sales channels in ecommerce fulfilment and direct-to-consumer platforms. Building on new data-driven and consumer-oriented strategies, Travelway continues to adapt and grow within the ever-changing retail atmosphere.
